September 2009: Fall Semester at Transylvania University has begun. New students at the University are encouraged to join.

July 2009: Students of the Kentucky Shotokan Karate Association attended Master Masataka Mori's Summer camp. The 2009 Summer Camp was held at Mitchell College, in New London, Connecticut.

The Camp culminated in a Tournament and Dan test. Sensei Erfani assisted in judging at the Tournament
